I have designed a wide range of projects for the Office of University Programs and Events.
My work has contributed to the success of the events in terms of increased attendance, fundraising and audience satisfaction.
Think Forum is an annual free speaker series that features four inspiring and interesting authors. The client requested a piece that could be mailed, communicate basic information about the speakers and also function as a poster to promote the event. My design solution was a self mailing broadside brochure that opened to a poster. I created compelling visual illustrations for each speaker and used them to make a full suite of supporting materials, including invitation packages, event programs, flyers and social media graphics. The events were well attended and the client was very satisfied.
Momentum is a yearly event to thank donors for their generosity and inspire their continued philanthropy.
These invitation packages were designed to promote the Nord Greenway.
Both used special techniques including foil stamp, metallic ink, die cut and duplex stock.
To promote Cornell West as the speaker at the College Scholars Program Inaugural Lecture, I designed four posters in compelling “Warhol-style” graphics coupled with thought-provoking headlines. The posters were printed four up on a sheet and cut apart for cost efficiency. The event was sold out and the students enjoyed displaying the posters in their dorm rooms.
I received a bronze CASE award for this poster series.
